The Reverend W. Earl Kooperkamp, PhD

All spotters commented on Dr. Kooperkamp’s dynamism, talent for collaboration, and optimism. He is a prominent Episcopal presence in diverse social transformation issues, from prison advocacy to the rights of restaurant workers. He is the rector of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Manhattanville and is involved with the St. Mary’s New York Interns Program. Father Kooperkamp is politically active in the areas of peace, justice and human rights and is especially focused on the consequences of war.

Dr. Kooperkamp used his fellowship at the Order of the Holy Cross in Westpark, NY to reflect and write on the “theology of empire.”
