Singing opens hearts. Powerful and uplifting, singing in a group – in harmony – teaches us how to listen to each other. It has a ripple effect in the
community and beyond. Whether you are an experienced singer, or have always wished
you could sing, please join us for this day of community in song. We will learn
songs of spirit from around the world: step by step, call and response, in the oral
tradition. These will include African freedom songs, songs from the African-American
tradition, Latin chants, and contemporary songs. All voices welcome, even those who
believe they are "non-singers."
Call Lynn Anderson, LMFT, for information and reservations at 772-539-2070. This event sponsored by the Psychotherapy and Spirituality Institute.
