This session will focus on the significant life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the German theologian and martyr, who fought against Nazism and anti-Semitism existing in Germany during the 1930s and early 1940s and who was murdered by the remnants of the Hitler regime during the last days of World War II. In addition, the fundamental tenets of Bonhoeffer’s theology will be discussed. This session will serve as an introduction to the main event about Bonhoeffer in the afternoon at 2pm in Trinity Church.
