It started with a gift of 422 acres of land in 1704 from Queen Anne of England. Her intent was that "there be no more delay" in providing for mission and ministry in the New World. Over three centuries, women and men, families and friends, from diverse economic means have gifted Trinity, enabling the parish to extend it's mission into future generations. Trinity's mission and ministry program today are the beneficiaries of their commitment and vision.
Jim Cooper, Trinity's 17th Rector, launches The Trinity Charter Society, a planned giving program. This workshop will explore the theology of giving, celebrate Trinity's unique role in seeding mission and ministry near and far and provide a model for economic sustainability. He is joined by a member of the Episcopal Church Foundation.
