Many people are afraid to come to Bible studies because they don't think that they are expert enough to participate. Many others don't know how scriptures written so long ago are still relevant.  This class will give people at all levels of scriptural literacy the tools they need to bring the Bible alive in their lives today using a variety of perspectives. This three-part class will help us learn how we can use our hearts, souls and minds to understand and inwardly digest the scriptures.  Topics will include studying the historical/critical method of Biblical understanding, lectio divina, praying with the Bible, and cross-cultural Biblical understanding.
