His other important books include The Crucified God (1972), God in Creation (1985), and The Coming of God (1995).

For over 40 years, she has been a major cultural voice for freedom and justice. A child of Southwest Georgia, born in the struggle against racism in America during the Civil Rights Movement, she is a composer, song leader, scholar and producer.
