"Ordered, that the Church Wardens provide a Chest to keep the Cash & writings belonging to the Church & a Book to State the Church Wardens Acco[un]ts."
From the Standing Committee Minutes, July 6, 1827:
“Agreed that the Comptroller be authorized to purchase trunks or boxes suitable for containing the papers and documents of the Corporation of Trinity Church after they have been arranged and proper lists made of them”
