Each year, the Visiting Choir ministry at Trinity Wall Street and St. Paul’s Chapel welcomes hundreds of performers from around the world for informal concerts. Choirs wishing to take part in the parish’s Visiting Choir ministry must reserve a date and time at least 3 months in advance. You may do so by reading the provided information and filling out the form below.
Trinity Wall Street is pleased to offer the following times for visiting choirs:
These times are subject to availability, and may be changed to accommodate services or other major events.
Before their performances, visiting choirs are invited to attend the 12:05pm celebration of the Eucharist at Trinity Church or the 12:30pm Prayers for Peace at St. Paul’s Chapel.
Due to other programs occurring at Trinity Church and St. Paul’s Chapel, we are unable to schedule choirs outside of these times, and will not be able to accommodate unscheduled/drop-in performances. We do not offer rehearsal time in either space, although choirs performing at Trinity Church will have use of the choir room facilities an hour prior to their performance.
No fees or donations may be collected for performances and the audience cannot be estimated, as it will vary according to the number of visitors present. Performances should last no more than 30 minutes.
Please note that Trinity Wall Street welcomes all spiritual and secular traditions, and while we do not require a program entirely made up of sacred music, we ask that your repertoire be respectful of the sacred space in which you are performing, and we reserve the right to make changes accordingly.
Please come dressed for your performance. There is a common space provided both at Trinity Church and St. Paul’s Chapel for personal belongings and to put on robes; however full changing facilities are not available. We do not allow shorts, flip-flops, tank tops, etc.
