Trinity Wall Street has received a variety of industry awards and nominations this year, from recognition of excellent video productions to best renovated building in New York.
Trinity TV and New Media was recently recognized with a Silver People's Choice Telly Award, which honor the best in video and film productions. Past winners include CBS Productions, ESPN, the Sesame Workshop, and Sony Pictures. The winning video was God's Mission in the Economic Crisis: Ghana, featuring Dr. Stephen Dzisi, technical director of Nets for Life, discussing the life-saving benefits of nets in the prevention of malaria. It's part of Trinity's Anglican Communion Stories series, which shows how people in the global Anglican Communion are working together for the kingdom of God.
The Ghana video also won two Telly Bronze Awards. Another Trinity TV Production, Music and Mission in New Orleans, won a Telly Bronze in the Not-for-Profit category.
TV also received two CINE Golden Eagles earlier this year, for the Ghana story and for God's Mission in Economic Crisis: Lakota, another Anglican Communion Story.
The Trinity website, trinitywallstreet.org, was nominated for a Webby this year, a prestigious industry award that honors excellence on the Internet. The site was nominated in the Religion and Spirituality category, and was the only church website selected.
The American Inhouse Design Awards have recognized Trinity's Creative Services team for their excellence in design on the 2009-2010 Music and Arts brochure and the history exhibit design for the Trinity Museum. The Trinity Museum is located in Trinity Church and the history exhibit will be open later this year.
And, finally, 345 Hudson Street, a building owned by Trinity Real Estate, was honored with the Pinnacle Award for Best Renovated Building by the Building Owners and Managers Association of New York. The building now advances to the national level of competition for best building, with winners announced in June 2011.
