Change in Diocesan Policy on Same-Sex Marriage

The Bishop of the Diocese of New York has announced a change of diocesan policy regarding same-sex marriages following the 2012 General Convention of the Episcopal Church. The Bishop’s letter explaining the policy change can be found here.

In a conversation with the bishop I indicated that I am pleased with this next step in diocesan policy, and that I look forward to working with the vicar and clergy here at Trinity in the coming weeks to determine our pastoral response.
