Honor a Trinity Parishioner and Help Prevent Cancer

August 24, 2010

Once again, Trinity parishioners, staff, and friends will participate in the American Cancer Society's annual "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk in Central Park on Sunday, October 17, 2010. Trinity walks in memory of parishioner Naomi Tate who lost her own battle with breast cancer in 2001. Before her death, Tate founded the Thank You Foundation to support breast cancer prevention and research.

This year, Trinity's team fundraising goal is to raise $5,000 for breast cancer research.

More than 700,000 people around the United States participated in "Making Strides" walks in 2009.
