This summer, Trinity Wall Street is launching its first New York City mission and service trip to mirror the mutual relationships and formative focus of our trips in other locations. A congregation and staff-working group identified Hour Children as the partner organization for Trinity’s work in New York City. Hour Children is located in Long Island City, and predominantly serves mothers and children inside correctional facilities, as well as those that have been released from the prison system. Trinity volunteers will work with women on improving social and professional skills and help in the organization’s thrift shop.

This mission and service trip will be held on Fridays and Saturdays from July 22 - August 13. Applicants can select the day or days for which he or she is interested in volunteering. Members of the congregation, staff, and their children over 14 are encouraged to apply. Please note, some of the days of this trip are suitable for younger children, accompanied by a parent. Significant others, family members, friends of Trinity Wall Street and non-members can also apply. They are not eligible for a scholarship, and must have a Trinity Wall Street sponsor. Priority to go on a trip is given to congregation members, staff, and their children.
