Light Breaks: Advent Calendar 2011

From November 27 through December 25, Trinity Wall Street’s 2011 Advent Calendar, Light Breaks, will use music, video, narration, and photography, to reveal moments of powerful new understanding, awareness and insight. Individual stories will explore public/private partnerships in educating young people; the art of radical hospitality; pastoral care; and the Church as it works with innovative and emerging social movements.    

Light Breaks comes with two significant, new features. In addition to the entire calendar, individual days will be embeddable on other websites and sharable through social media. Also, viewer reflections will be collected and displayed online, allowing them to become contributors.   

Light Breaks is available at no charge to dioceses, churches and other religious organizations, as well as individuals, who are interested in adding inspiring content to their websites. For those who choose to embed material, the calendar has been designed to live independently on participating sites without linking back to the Trinity website.
