Baseball -- the national pasttime and a New York obsession -- is coming to Trinity.

Two Little League teams, the Trinity Angels and the St. Paul's Twins, are being sponsored this summer by Trinity Wall Street. The Trinity Angels is made up of 15 children, ages 6 - 8. More information about the St. Paul's Twins will be posted soon. Both teams are part of the Downtown Little League.

Practices and games are held at the Battery Park City Ball Fields. Click here for a google map with directions from Trinity Church to the Ball Fields.

The teams would love to see Trinity folks at their games and practices. And when you go to the game -- introduce yourself to Angels' coach Will Chan, so they know that their sponsoring community has come out to support the team!

Little League opening day is Saturday, April 9! Little League teams will parade from City Hall to the Battery Park City Ball Fields at 9am. The fields will be turned into a carnival for the day to celebrate the start of the season. There will be fun for the whole family -- including a dunk tank, honoring the 2010 League champions, and the opportunity to get an autograph from 1986 World Series Champion Ron Darling.
