Palm Sunday Liturgy and Procession

This principal Palm Sunday Liturgy begins at St. Paul's Chapel with the blessing of palm branches, followed by a festive procession down Broadway to Trinity Church for the continuation of the liturgy.

The Liturgy of the Passion and the Eucharist, from Trinity Church, will be webcast and will begin at 11:15am.

Wednesday in Holy Week

Tenebrae

The Office of Tenebrae is sung by The Choir of Trinity Wall Street. During the service of Tenebrae, candles are gradually extinguished while a series of readings and psalms are chanted or recited.

The Liturgy of the Lord's Supper commemorates the institution of the Eucharist of our Lord together with foot washing, procession to the Altar of Repose, and the stripping of the altar.

All Night Vigil Before the Blessed Sacrament

A silent vigil of prayer and meditation through the night before the Blessed Sacrament until noon on Good Friday.

The Liturgy of Good Friday and Veneration of the Cross

The Way of the Cross begins at the steps of Trinity Church and proceeds through the streets of Lower Manhattan, stopping at key stations for prayer and meditation.

Good Friday with Children, Youth, and Families

This interactive family service is engaging and instructive for all ages, featuring child and youth readers, acolytes, greeters, and the Trinity Youth Chorus.

The Great Vigil of Easter

This symbol-rich liturgy features candlelit readings and storytelling, ancient and modern chants, and the joyful arrival of Easter with festive music, the celebration of Baptism, and the first Eucharist of Easter; followed by a special fellowship hour.

TENEbrae
The vocal ensemble TENET joins forces with Trinity Wall Street to present six weeks of impassioned early music during Lent, the season of darkness and self-reflection. The series is named after the somber Tenebrae service that marks the time just before the transition to light and takes place during Holy Week.
