The Vigil of the Blessed Sacrament is a response to Jesus’ question to his disciples on the night before his death, "Could you not watch with me one hour?" It is a silent vigil of prayer and meditation before the consecrated bread and wine used during the Good Friday Eucharist. The vigil lasts through the night, beginning at 8pm on Maundy Thursday and ending at noon on Good Friday.
This year, Trinity Wall Street invites the online community to take part in the vigil via live webstream. Use the form below to sign up to keep the Vigil by watching online for one hour between 8pm on Maundy Thursday, April 21, and 10:00 am on Good Friday, April 22.
Receive meditations via Twitter throughout the Vigil by following TrinityWallSt.
