Trinity, Tutu, and Divestment

December 10 marks the thirtieth anniversary of the presentation of the Nobel Peace Prize to Desmond Tutu, the Anglican Archbishop Emeritus of Cape Town. Trinity Wall Street often partnered with Tutu in the 1980s and, in this Oral History segment, the Rev. Canon James Callaway recalls how Trinity handled the topic of financial divestment as a weapon in the battle against apartheid, the system of racial segregation in South Africa.
