Trinity offers Sunday school classes and special events for families and children of all ages. Learn more.
In addition, volunteers are enlisted as teachers to lead Sunday School classes for children and youth. As part of ensuring the safety of children at Trinity, teachers must be a member of the congregation for six months and receive Safe Church Training offered by the Diocese of New York at Trinity. Trinity community members lead a variety of small groups, including a young adult gathering, a group for job seekers, a knitting fellowship, and many more. If you are interested in joining or would like to start your own small group, you can learn more here.
Mission and Ministry Committees
Trinity’s Congregational Council oversees the congregation’s mission and ministry, with the help of several subcommittees. You do not have to be a member of the council to serve on a committee. Learn more about the council.

Community Service and Social Justice
Brown Bag Lunches
Volunteers from the parish and neighborhood prepare and distribute Brown Bag lunches and coffee to more than 200 people every week. Learn more.
The Witness and Outreach Committee oversees several outreach ministries led by the congregation, including the Task Force Against Racism, a Prison Ministry, and more. Learn more.
Mission and Service Trips
Members of the Trinity engage in community service and build relationships on trips to locations in New York City, New Orleans, Haiti, Panama and Burundi. Learn more.
Music & Arts
Many of Trinity’s acclaimed music and arts programs are peopled by dedicated volunteer talent. Opportunities include youth music programs; the Family Choir; a semi-professional choir, Downtown Voices; ringing the 12 unique bells in Trinity Church’s steeple; and participating in Trinity’s various congregational arts programs.
