By Train

Trains to and from Metro North’s Wassaic train station run regularly out of Grand Central Terminal in New York City via the Harlem Valley Line. The retreat center is located 30 minutes away and offers a courtesy shuttle bus for themed retreats. For groups of four or more who need to be picked up and dropped off, please email or call the office to inquire about shuttle service availability at least 14 days before your retreat begins.

By Taxi

Several taxi companies, as well as Uber, offer service at the Wassaic train station. Taxis are usually lined up and waiting with each train arrival. If you can’t find a taxi, contact one of the following.

By Car

From New York City

Driving the 100 miles from NYC to Trinity Retreat Center typically takes 2 hours and 20 minutes, with the last part of the journey winding through the beautiful hills of New England. You know you’re close when you arrive at the historic West Cornwall covered bridge that takes motorists and bicyclists across the Housatonic River to Lower River Road.

From Boston

The retreat center is 2 hours 48 minutes (145 miles) via I-84 East and I-90 East southwest of Boston.

The Trinity Retreat Center offers free parking.

By Air

If you’re flying into Hartford, the retreat center is about 47 miles (1 hour 15 minutes) to the west. We do not currently operate a shuttle service to Bradley International Airport.
