A Musical Mother's Day Weekend

Do you hear the music? If you are in the neighborhood of Lower Manhattan in the next few days, chances are you will. There are eight opportunities to hear live music at Trinity Wall Street between Thursday, May 8 and Monday, May 12. 

Thursday’s Concert at One features pianist Michelle Cann playing works by Chopin, Beethoven, and Debussy. The concert will be webcast live and available on-demand.

On Thursday evening, the Family Choir sings at Solemn Evensong in All Saints Chapel.

Also on Thursday, a Choral Evensong in observance of Law Day will be held at St. Paul’s Chapel.

Sunday’s music begins with the 9am Holy Eucharist at Trinity Church, featuring the Choir of Trinity Wall Street. The Chapel Singers sing at the 10am Holy Eucharist at St. Paul’s Chapel. The Choir sings again at the 11:15am Holy Eucharist at Trinity Church.  Services at Trinity Church are webcast live and available on-demand.

Sunday evening ends with Compline by Candlelight at St. Paul’s Chapel. The Choir sings chant and newly-composed music. Compline is also available as a podcast.

Finally, Monday’s Bach at One, at Trinity Church, will feature the Choir and Trinity Baroque Orchestra performing Bach BWV 234 Missa in A and Bach BWV 51 Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen.
