In July, the Movement Choir, an ensemble of Trinity parishioners that performs sacred dance, participated in the Sacred Dance Guild’s international festival at Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania.
During the festival they performed a dance choreographed by Marilyn Green called “The Doors,” along with other members of the Sacred Dance Guild.

On July 26, they also danced “Reconciliation,” which was created for the tenth anniversary of 9/11, at the Chautauqua Institution for an audience of 4,000.

The group will perform “Reconciliation” again for the anniversary of 9/11 on September 12 and on September 23 at the opening of the Catholic Archdiocese of New York’s Sheen Center, and a new piece, “For Conduct and Innocents,” in commemoration of the martyrdom of Dietrich Bonheoffer on October 18.
