Britten Festival: Still Falls the Rain with Nicholas Phan

Acclaimed tenor Nicholas Phan joins Trinity Wall Street's celebration of Benjamin Britten in an evening concert, performing works from his second solo album, Still Falls the Rain (Avie Records 2012). The program includes Britten's The Heart of the Matter; Canticle III: Still falls the rain (text by Edith Stillwell); Canticle V: The Death of Narcissus (text by T. S. Eliot); and selected folk songs. Mr. Phan is joined by musicians Myra Huang, piano; Sivan Magen, harp; and Jennifer Montone, french horn.
