Spa for the Soul: Decluttering as a Spiritual Practice
"The one who has two tunics is to share with him who has none; and he who has food is to do likewise" (Luke 3:11).
Decluttering with intention can be a spiritual practice; attention to what we hold in excess can grow and change us in ways that bring us closer to God. Join us as we reflect on attachments, grace, and the freedom of simplicity. Together, we will explore what enough feels like, why it can be difficult to let go, and the possibility of engaging our spiritual selves in clearing more room to receive God’s abundance. Come away with a renewed desire to exchange love through giving and a practical plan for making your home and your heart into your sanctuary.
Led by Kathy Bozzuti-Jones, Ph.D. and Rev. Beth Gavin, interfaith spiritual counselor.
Fee: $25 includes lunch.
