Trinity initiated partnerships with churches in the Anglican and Episcopal tradition in Latin America and the Caribbean upon the arrival of the Rev. Dr. William Lupfer as 18th Rector of Trinity in 2015.
Now, Trinity's partners in Latin America and the Caribbean convene annually to share insights and to discuss ways they are building leadership and financial capacity for their local parishes. These meetings provide opportunities to further deepen personal ties with each other.
Partnering In Search of Leaders
Two hundred people gathered together, more than two dozen countries represented, at least three languages spoken, and one primary focus: Leadership. The annual meeting of the Latin America and Caribbean partners of Trinity Church Wall Street happened in October in Curitiba, Brazil.
Building A Stronger Global Church
Trinity's partners in Latin America and the Caribbean convened in October 2018 for their fourth annual conference to discuss two very specific goals: leadership and financial capacity.
Deepening Personal Relationships
Trinity's recent conference in Colombia, provided a chance for our partners in Latin America and the Caribbean to further deepen personal ties and to learn more about the specific context in which the Anglican and Episcopal churches minister in that region. Father Mark Bozzuti-Jones, who organizes these conferences for Trinity, says the diversity of our partners there is reason to celebrate.
