Comfort at One

During trying times, music stills our souls and provides a healing grace. Each Monday-Friday at 1pm, we share new and archived performances on Facebook and Twitter and will post the most recent videos below. For past Comfort at One performances, browse our music video portal. We hope these performances help you find a daily haven of peace and comfort.

The theme of the fall 2020 season is “Passing Through,” which includes performances ranging from John Adams’s Road Movies, depicting a passage through landscapes, to Trinity’s “Time’s Arrow” concerts, which explore the passage of musical styles through time from early music to world premieres. Guest artists from NOVUS NY (Katie Hyun, Conor Hanick, Stuart Breczinski, and Charity Wicks), Attacca Quartet, House of Time, and Trinity Baroque Orchestra will present musical reflections recorded from home. Our fall theme represents a message of hope for the current worldwide predicament: “this too shall pass.”
