Food Assistance

Although Lower Manhattan may not seem like a community where people are in need, it is; and the pandemic has further exacerbated economic inequalities. With sharp rises in the unemployment rate, the cost of groceries, and the number of people seeking assistance from food pantries and soup kitchens, food insecurity is at an all-time high in New York City.

Trinity remains committed to helping our neighbors in need through advocacy and programs, such as Resource Connections, Compassion Meals, and the Compassion Market. Through our grantmaking, Trinity also supports community partners who are addressing the roots of poverty—a primary reason people need assistance in the first place.
