The performance of the opera Angel's Bone at Trinity Wall Street set the stage for a panel discussion on the topic of human trafficking with a focus on the commercial sex industry.
Panelists included Shelia Simpkins McClain, of the Magdalene community in Nashville; the Very Rev. Mike Kinman, dean of Christ Church Episcopal Cathedral in St. Louis; Rachel Lloyd, founder of GEMS, Girls Empowerment & Mentoring Services; Du Yun, composer; and Royce Vavrek, librettist.
