Bach at One

November 23, 2016

Last season, Trinity completed its long-term presentation of Bach’s complete sacred choral music. This year Bach at One continues in the fall with the six motets, BWV 225-30, with which the cycle began, as well as other favorite cantatas, performed by The Choir of Trinity Wall Street and the Trinity Baroque Orchestra. The ensembles perform these works with period instruments, providing a historically informed experience of some of Bach’s most awe-inspiring sacred works.

Today:

BWV 147 Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben

BWV 225 Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied
