This service commemorates Jesus’ last meal with his friends, the commission to serve and the Institution of the Lord’s Supper. The service begins a Meal, continues with the ritual of Footwashing and the Holy Eucharist, and concludes with the Stripping of the Altar and the Reservation of the Sacrament in preparation for the Solemn Liturgy of Good Friday.
