Comfort at One: Agnus Dei

Under the leadership of Stephen Sands, the semi-professional choir Downtown Voices has been working closely with renowned pedagogue Dr. Donald Dumpson and the Philadelphia Heritage Chorale for the past several months. The ensembles have collaborated online weekly—improving musicianship skills, learning repertoire from the African diaspora, and having discussions about spirituality, racial justice, and pandemic life.
