Taizé Pilgrimage
The info session for the 2024 trip is on Sep 24 10am at Trinity Commons
This trip offers youth an opportunity to join brothers from the Taizé Community in Burgundy, France and youth from around the world to enter the monastery’s rhythm of prayer, service, and rest.
Jazz House Kids: Trinity Youth Afterschool

Lineage Project
Founded in 1999, Lineage Project teaches trauma-sensitive mindfulness to young people (12 - 24 years old). Grounded in cutting-edge research on trauma and neurobiology and two decades of firsthand experience, Lineage’s unique three-part teaching model weaves together movement (e.g., yoga/Tai Chi), facilitated dialogue on a guiding question, and guided meditation.
Montclair Film
Montclair Film connects global filmmakers with audiences in a diverse, culturally vibrant community by presenting films and year-round programs that engage, entertain and educate through the power of visual storytelling. At Trinity, MFF will develop digital media programming with the afterschool classes and the Summer History Fellows.
Alvin Ailey Extension
Ailey Extension exemplifies Alvin Ailey’s legacy that dance comes from the people and should be given back to the people by making dance accessible all people in a welcoming, non-competitive environment. At the afterschool class, each one involves learning original choreography while focusing on theatrical elements and mastering musicality.
A look-back at the first year of Trinity Youth Afterschool
“I’m not gonna miss high school, but I’m gonna miss Trinity,” Crystal Minchala, a senior who was part of Trinity Youth Afterschool throughout the past school year. As Trinity Youth Afterschool celebrates its one-year anniversary, it has transformed into a vibrant hub for students, offering a diverse range of activities and forming a close-knit community they fondly refer to as their "second family." Check out this video to learn more about Trinity Youth and how to join in the fall.

Trinity Youth Statement
When the George Floyd protests began, a member of Trinity Youth asked Fr. Matt, “What is the church going to say about this?” Fr. Matt replied, “You are the church. If you want the church to say something — say something!”
In response, Trinity Youth spent several weeks engaged in thoughtful conversation and deep listening. This Trinity Youth Statement, which we are honored to share with you today, is the result of that work. In it, Trinity Youth articulate a clear call to action for themselves and our community.
